EdgeSurvey™
Should I survey all my patients?
CTQ recommends you survey 100% of your patients.
What age groups should I target?
CTQ believes it is inappropriate to survey patients who are under 16 years of age or mentally impaired. In these instances request the email address of the parent or guardian. You will be pleasantly surprised at the high percentage of over-65 responses returned.
When can I see my survey responses?
You will be able to view any responses the day after they are entered. We preserve all responses, so you will not lose the ability to review 'older' responses.
Can you prevent multiple surveys from going to the same patient?
Yes. This is built into CTQ operations. We can re-survey your patient based on an interval that has passed (that you define).
What is a Negative Response?
Any statements your patients respond to with either "Disagree" or "Strongly Disagree" are referred to as Negative Responses.
Am I Alerted if a Patient Provides a Negative Response?
Yes. CTQ provides you with an Alert email the day following the entry of a "Negative Response". You then have the opportunity to view the entire response and if the patient provided you with a return phone number, you are informed with detail information about his/her dissatisfaction prior to making the call.
What is the patient does not provide a Phone Number?
Your patients have the option of identifying themselves or remaining 'Anonymous' which is their right. CTQ will not usurp this confidentiality under any circumstances.
Does CTQ provide other insight with Alerts?
Absolutely. CTQ released an extension of EdgeSurvey free of charge to its EdgeSurvey clients. Please visit (Quality Intelligence) to learn more about how CTQ helps you leverage patient intelligence to improve quality.
