Reporting
QualityIntelligence™ is a 100% web-enabled solution that permits each facility to track and capture valuable information following the patient encounter. QualityIntelligence™ is provided to all CTQ EdgeSurvey™ clients at no charge.
Discussion with the patient and internal follow-up typically reside on several different notebooks, loose pieces of paper and manila folders. Too much of this information is not routed to Quality Assurance, Risk Management and other internal Performance Improvement Teams. The introduction of QualityIntelligence™ allows the flow of the data capture to continue and get to the right people at the right time
The QualityIntelligence™ module is fully interoperable with EdgeSurvey™ and allows a facility to capture additional patient intelligence, under-performance, areas of risk and dissatisfaction. All external and internal discussion associated with a patient's case may be annotated and reposed in the CTQ online portal. In addition, QualityIntelligence™ allows each facility to assign associate-specific follow-up to any case. Internal monitoring, progress tracking and escalation are available on demand with three new real-time reports for Standard Quality Intelligence, Quality Escalation and Quality Assurance Capture.
How it Works
QualityIntelligence™ takes a best-practice (patient dissatisfaction follow-up) and automates it. As EdgeSurvey™ removes the paper burden of in-house administered surveying and brings all your patient responses online, QualityIntelligence™ preserves the continuity of critical information to leadership through an online collaboration tool.
As patient surveys are completed, CTQ interrogates each response for "Dissatisfaction" that may warrant an alert or notification. It is the facilities discretion of what surveys responses warrant an alert, thinking of what may suggest "a sense of urgency". Each alert is directly linked to the entire survey response which may or may not warrant patient follow-up.
QualityIntelligence™ provides you the ability to assign follow-up to one of your associates who becomes accountable for bringing to some form of conclusion. This associate can annotate all patient and internal discussion, categorize issues and use their discretion of whether to have the data appear on the Escalation or QA Capture Report (or both). All data is available on a 'catch all' report that summarizes all QualityIntelligence™ data with the level of filtering you apply.
Your associate can update the QualityIntelligence™ as many times as they wish. The staff you provide "View" privileges to can view any of the reports at any time. There are many more options to share within QI to share.

Reporting
As mentioned, there are three standard reports. All reports are real-time meaning that immediately following the QI entry, the data will appear on the relevant report. These reports include:
Standard QI Reporting: All QI record entries for a given time interval are captured
QI Escalation Reporting: Only QI record entries you selected to Escalate are captured (for a given time interval). Additional filtering will soon be available.
QA Capture: Only record entries you selected as "QA Capture Entries" are reported (for a given time interval). Additional filtering will soon be available.
The following is an example of one QA entry that may appear on the Escalation Report. Note that there is room reserved for procedure to allow for the procedure to be displayed when captured in the future. Primary care-giver will be an option to display as well.
